TANGALE COMMUNITY OVERSEAS
Tangale Community Overseas, Inc. (TCO) is a non-profit, non-partisan, and non-religious organization. It was established by citizens of Tangale descent living across North America, South America, Europe, Australia, the Middle East and Asia, united by a shared concern for their welfare in their respective communities and the prevailing conditions in Tangale Land.
In solidarity and mutual resolve, TCO brings Tangale people overseas together to enhance our collective welfare and contribute to the advancement of Tangale Land.
Our members are part of a growing Tangale community spread across different parts of the world. While we may live far from our ancestral homeland, we remain connected by our heritage, culture, history, and shared commitment to the wellbeing and advancement of our people.
TCO provides a platform through which Tangale people overseas can support one another, preserve and promote our cultural heritage, build relationships with communities and organizations around the world, and contribute to the development of Tangale communities at home.
What We Do
Supporting Our Members
We believe in standing together in times of need. TCO provides a framework for moral and economic support among members, encouraging compassion, solidarity, mutual assistance, and responsible community participation.
Preserving Our Heritage
Our culture is an important part of our identity. TCO promotes the preservation and appreciation of Tangale cultural heritage through the documentation and presentation of our history, language, arts, crafts, traditions, and cultural practices.
We seek to ensure that our heritage remains meaningful and accessible to present and future generations.
Building Connections
TCO fosters interaction and understanding between the Tangale community and other associations, organizations, institutions, and agencies in Nigeria and internationally.
Through these relationships, we create opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, partnerships, and mutual benefit.
Developing Our Communities
We are committed to contributing to the socio-cultural, technological, scientific, and economic development of Tangale towns and villages.
Through community services, empowerment initiatives, and the mobilization of knowledge, skills, and resources, we seek to support sustainable progress and improve the wellbeing of our communities.
Sharing Information
Information is an important resource for a connected community. TCO seeks to collect, preserve, and disseminate information that is relevant and beneficial to our members.
Through effective communication and information sharing, we help our members remain informed, connected, and engaged with issues affecting our people and communities.
Promoting Economic Development
TCO supports initiatives that can contribute to economic development in Tangale communities and Gombe State.
By encouraging mutually beneficial economic activities, partnerships, investment opportunities, entrepreneurship, and the exchange of knowledge and expertise, TCO seeks to strengthen the economic capacity of our people and communities.

All services rendered by officers and members of the organization are performed on a voluntary basis.
