Connecting Tangale People Across the World

Tangale Community Overseas (TCO) recognizes that our strength lies in the relationships we build and the bonds we maintain as a people. Although members of our community live in different countries and regions, we remain connected by a shared heritage, identity, history, and responsibility to one another.

The Community platform provides a space for Tangale people overseas to connect, participate, support one another, exchange information, and contribute to the wellbeing and development of our wider community.

Our Community

TCO brings together Tangale individuals and families living outside Nigeria, creating opportunities for members to develop meaningful relationships and participate in community activities.

Our community is built on:

• Unity — bringing Tangale people together across geographical boundaries.
• Mutual Support — standing with one another in times of need and opportunity.
• Belonging — creating a sense of connection to the Tangale community, wherever we live.
• Participation — encouraging members to contribute their time, knowledge, skills, and resources.
• Responsibility — recognizing our collective responsibility toward our people and communities.

Connecting the Diaspora

Tangale people living abroad have diverse experiences, skills, professions, and perspectives. TCO provides a platform through which these resources can be connected for the benefit of our members and communities.

Through community activities, meetings, information sharing, cultural programs, and collaborative initiatives, we seek to strengthen relationships among Tangale people across the diaspora.

Supporting One Another

A strong community is one in which people do not stand alone.

TCO encourages members to support one another through appropriate forms of moral, social, and economic assistance. We promote compassion, solidarity, and responsible participation while recognizing the importance of accountability and respect for the law.

Connecting the Diaspora With Home

Our connection to Tangale land does not end because we live abroad.

TCO seeks to strengthen meaningful connections between Tangale communities overseas and communities in Tangale land. Through partnerships, knowledge exchange, community initiatives, and the responsible mobilization of resources, members of the diaspora can contribute to the social, cultural, and economic development of our people.

Our Community, Our Responsibility

Community is more than a place. It is a relationship, a shared identity, and a commitment to one another.

TCO encourages every member to play a constructive role in strengthening our community. Whether through professional expertise, cultural knowledge, mentorship, volunteering, financial support, or simply being present for others, every contribution can make a difference.

Together Across Borders

We may live in different countries, but our shared heritage continues to connect us.

We connect our people.
We support one another.
We preserve our heritage.
We contribute to our communities.
We build for the future.
